Adrienne De Guevara (she/her/ella) adrienne@miscworkshop.com

Adrienne De Guevara is driven by the experimental inquiry with shapes, mediums, and discarded objects, to unlock the mystery of how form informs our physicality and relationships to each other and our environment. De Guevara combines self-taught and formal training in visual and performing arts to achieve a unique expression outside of any specific pedagogy. De Guevara’s performance work has been presented in Santa Barbara, CA, San Francisco, CA, New York City, and Putney, VT. De Guevara co-founded Crux Productions, a theater and film production company in Brooklyn, NY, was co-creator of Mister Sister, an Avant-Vaudeville comedy duo performing in night clubs in Manhattan, front woman for Shakti Pops, an electronic-kirtan band, and has experience as a director and lighting technician on various projects in New York City and Vermont. In 2023 she was a recipient of the California Central Coast Creative Corps Individual Fellowship award. She is a primary collaborator at MISC Workshop in Santa Barbara, CA and works as the Programs and Fund Development Officer for the Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative, serves on the board of the Children’s Creative Project, and is an avid community organizer focused on the arts.
